How to Introduce Someone

Awareness and creativity are some of the most admirable traits to me, especially as an aspiring writer and director. You cannot write without being aware of yourself and others, the way people write, their cultures, how they speak, why they speak, it’s all awareness in small details, and those details is how you can learn so much about people and write your characters. Unfortunately, I can’t fully introduce myself in a blog, nobody can. It’s impossible to fully understand someone no matter how aware you are.

While I look up to these traits, I also appreciate negative traits such as anger and pessimism, and I like them because they create people and design them the way they are. Without any of these negative traits, our world could never come to be.

One day I can be simplistic. I enjoy writing, I want to be a director, I love the color pink, I want to experience school in New York, and more details. I love tacos and white chocolate hersheys, I’m not a fan of sports and I hold my pencil in a funny way with a fist in my left hand. I may dress in a simple and comfy outfit and live a very simplistic day, but that doesn’t make me who I am.

Another day, I can be far more formal and philosophical. I could go into detail the way childhood works, or why I believe emotion in people is beautiful, or how the human brain is meant to be molded and shaped to create your personality. I absolutely adore social studies and savory foods. All genres of music are enjoyable to listen to for my imagination, from classical to rap. I may dress in flashy clothes planned the day before and live a very complex and eventful day, but that doesn’t make me who I am.

We change everyday, and it’s normal to embody and be all these different traits at once. People aren’t defined to a single label or perception, but are meant to be and experience all sorts of things at once. Anybody who doesn’t know me has already created their own perception of me in their mind, just one of the thousands of versions of myself that exist in different people’s mind. This perception is not me though, and you will never truly understand myself or anybody else in your life, all you can do is learn more. Everyday you can learn something new about your significant other, your child, your friend, your coworker, your sibling, and even yourself.

These traits that change everyday don’t even make up a fraction of the person I am, or who I want to be. I know who I want to be, even if there’s a lot of people who may not. I have many wants and many versions of myself I want to be. I’ve been trying to make movies and short films with my friends ever since I first got hold of a tablet with a camera, those are my goals and what I want to do with my life. Having such a big imagination, I’ve imagined so many different versions for myself throughout my childhood and life, and being lost in thought has created a block between me and other people, but in the end, I don’t need to pick which one of those Kylies I want to be, I can be as many Kylies as I want.
